Allahabad University to commence BCom, BSc counseling from July 7, 2012

Allahabad University (AU) has declared its schedule for counseling of bachelor degree courses in BSc and BCom. The counseling will start from July 7, 2012. The counseling for BA program is expected to commence from July 14, 2012.

Counseling will be held at AU’s Pravesh Bhawan, Chatham Lines and reporting time is between 9 am and 11:30 am. Admissions process will be done from 12 pm-4 pm.

Candidates with total marks of 199 and above irrespective of their category are required to report at Pravesh Bhawan on July 7, 2012. Similarly, SC candidates with scores 67 and above should also report on the same day. Counseling for SC and ST candidates with scores 125 and above will be conducted on July 8, 2012 while rank holders of 125 and above scores of SC and ST category are required to report on July 9, 2012.

For BSc counseling, admission will remain open for all students irrespective of their category, for BSc (Bio), eligibility criteria BSc (Bio plus Home Science) and BSc (Bio) and score of 148 and above.

Admission to BSc (Bio) for OBC category with marks 118 and above, SC students with scores 101 and above and all ST category candidates will open on July 8, 2012.

Admission to BSc (Maths) will open on July 10, 2012 for OBC category candidates with marks 159 and above, SC candidates with scores 108 and above and all ST category students.

Admission to BSc (Home Science) will be done for students of all categories with scores of 91 and above, SC candidates with marks 41 and above, OBC category with score 70 and above and all ST students on July 11, 2012.

Sources from admission cell revealed that all candidates who have qualified entrance exam are required to carry their documents along with original admit card, one set each of Class X pass certificate, Class X marksheet and Class XII marksheet.

The students must also carry original Migration/Transfer certificate including various weightage certificates and testimonials. The fee amount mentioned in the admission booklet must be deposited in cash at the time of admission.
