To address the queries of applicants of BTech in Humanities, Delhi University (DU) conducted an Open Day for its meta college course in North Campus on Wednesday, August 8, 2012. CIC (Cluster Innovation Center) will conduct the course for which nearly 300 students have applied.

The course will focus on hands on experience and includes five specialisations - art and design, counselling, media studies, education and historical tourism. Unlike BA program, BTech in Humanities will assign 50% weightage to project work. The course provides ample opportunities to students. Candidates will have an option to choose from a wide range of subjects. Each student will get Mentors to help them in designing their course. Students can choose courses from other subjects as well. But students cannot enrol to the second year of the program directly. If he/she has completed first year from DU, they will have to drop the year and take admission in the first year of the program.

However, the counsellors advised that students should opt for papers carefully so that the classes do not clash.
