Delhi University (DU) has tied up with DRDO (Defence Research and Development Organization) with an objective of identifying the core technology research topics of common interest. The MoU was also signed with an aim to set up a center of excellence at DU preferably within 3 years with the help of funds from DRDO.

A Monitoring and Assessment Committee has been formulated to work towards the objectives laid in the MoU.

Though the MoU does not state anything about inviting proposals from colleges for providing funds for innovative projects, colleges under DU have been asked to submit proposals through university’s newly started Cluster Innovation Center.
