ATMA is conducted by the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) four or five times every year, for admissions into different management programs offered by over 600 business schools (B-schools) in India. As per the directive of the Government of Maharashtra state, ATMA score is valid for admissions against 15% OMS quota and 20% institute level seats for all the institutes offering MBA and Master of Management Studies (MMS).

The last ATMA examination was held online on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 and the Results were declared on Monday, August 11, 2014. After the December test, the next ATMA test will be paper-based, to be held on Sunday, February 8, 2015, for which the registrations will be conducted online.
