women will love it!!
Ok men..beware..If any of the women you know ask you to accompany them for $ex and the city...99% chances that you are going to hate it and are going to crib all the way and make the women hate it too!!! So why don't you just let the women do the watching. And my dear women, spare the men and call your gang of girls and head for the movie if you already haven't. 
Ok...to begin with, this is no epic masterpiece not does it have anything to rave about. But if you are just this simple girl trying to take a break from your monotonous life, then go for it ( but with no expectations and that's a rule)
Wel...as all women do, if you have gone through the whole love roller coaster then you can have no doubt about relating to the movie. If you are 40 + then even better
every other minute you would here someone quipping " Oh that happened to me..*grin* "
You can consider Sarah Jessica Parker the protagonist but you ultimately realize that all of them have a role to play. And all of them have a life to lead, just like you and me.
You can't call it a perfect ending but who said perfect is happy??? This is definitely a happy ending and makes you feel good and if you belong to the female species...then it would empower you and you would end up walking out smiling. (Now...everyone would be looking at you because you would be smiling to yourself. Either cause everyone looks their best when they are happy or cause you look mad
)
You would then know that LIFE IS NOT ALL THAT BAD.
