It is interesting how far something seemingly as insignificant as a haircut helps you stand apart in a crowd of thousands!

For some, a classic crew cut is all that they can manage to keep the heat at bay and thus a haircut is nothing but a means to achieve that end. Although some look really cool even with that scanty hair covering their scalps . . .

Then there are a few (especially guys) who are strictly forbidden to grow their hair longer (disapproving moms and grand moms are good at this!) and thus unfortunately have to chop off their dreams to look like their rock idols.

Some are bound by the censorious rules of the institution they attend and so have to keep their tresses at a conservative level.

But then DU isn’t about rules when it comes to fashion!

Here, the wackier you are, more are your number of admirers! Of course, that doesn’t imply that you land up in college looking like a Christmas tree replete with ribbons in your hair hoping to woo your crush! Or tie up your hair in that flowery, larger than a balloon ruffle that looks like a plastic ‘gajra’ or worst of all clasp your beautiful locks in that shiny shimmery ‘aunty wala clip’ !! uhhhh!!!

Dude! That is so nineties! Move on!!!!!

These are the fashion bloopers but on campus we have no dearth of the breed of extremely fashion conscious youths who know how to pull off that perfect fashionista look with élan!

Barbie like fringes or Rihanna’s Mohawk . . .

Cool side bangs or scrunched up hair . . .

Poker straight mane or a gothic Cleopatra like look . . .

When it comes to hairstyles being sported, you’ll surely fall short of terminologies!

Yes of course! Looking good doesn’t always comes cheap but if you value the kind of returns you will get in terms of appreciation apart from that extra zing that its going to add to your personality, then a little extra bucks wont pinch you.

After all, your clothes may change every day but the hair remains where it is! So better invest a bit to make it look dazzling!
