CAT 2009 Test Takers Analysis on Day Four

As Day Four of CAT 2009 rolled by, Minglebox is recieving updates from various test takers from across the country. Although there have been fewer reported instances of test cancellation, it is worth mentioning that Candidates from Garden City College at Bangalore were warned beforehand that their scheduled test slot might be cancelled at anytime due to virus attacks on the computers.

However, Tests did not get cancelled for this candidates' batch and went on smoothly until past the 2 hour time limit when around half the systems in the test hall (numbering to around 30) are reported to have stopped responding. The computers were then re-started and it was found that the answers chosen by the candidates were all Safe saving the candidates from any further stress.

This test taker added that the paper pattern was as expected with 20 questions each from QA, VA and DI. Most of the questions were of easy to moderate difficulty when it came to questions from RC, Verbal Reasoning, Sentence Correction, Data Interpretation and QA were all moderate level questions too except for Questions from Number Systems and Modern Mathematics.

Another test taker from Chennai added that the facilities at his test centre were good and that the question paper was a moderate one with the most difficult questions being from the Sentence Correction, Number Systems and Data interpretations to quite an extent as well.

Minglebox also received reports from candidates from Delhi, Bhopal and Lucknow who were unable to give their exam with some of them already being rescheduled candidates.
