INTERNATIONAL QUOTIENT

 

Today, International Quotient, organized by the rotaract club of mithibai college(RCMC) was held frm 10:00 am onwards at the juhu jagruti hall. International Quotient is an international quiz competition where many schools had participated. Elimination rounds had already been conducted in the schools frm 14^th march till the 24^th march as per the schools convenience. Two teams of 2 frm Four schools each (CNMS, JML, RIIMS International and JML) qualified for the semifinals. The semifinals and the finals were conducted today.

The event commenced at sharp 10:00 am with an introductory speech by the president of the rotaract club of mithibai college followed by the national anthem. Two rounds of semifinals were conducted with 4 teams in each semi. There were 3 rounds in the semis. From 8 teams, 4 qualified  for the finals. Co-incidentally 1 team from each of the 4 skools qualified fr the finals.

After the semifinals, monthly certificates were given 2 members of the RCMC. This was followed by a short presentation on the SAVE TIGER CAMPAIGN started by NDTV which is supported the RCMC.

We had the finals after this presentation. CNMS won the finals. Though I must say that there was very tuff competition between CNMS and JML. Infact there was a tie-breaker between them in da end! N CNMS won by just 1 point!! The other teams also performed very well, but i guess not-so-well!!

Then the prizes, certificates n medals were given to the finalist as well as the other participants.

This was followed finally by the vote of thanks given by the chairperson of the project and at 1:00 , the project was adjourned.

I personally immensely enjoyed working on the profect and being a part of it. It was great fun!!
