The Common Admission Test, popularly known as CAT, is an all-India test conducted by the premier IIMs as an entrance examination for the management programs offered by its business schools (B-schools) as well as other top Master of Business Administration (MBA) schools. CAT examinations are administered by the American test-conducting firm “Prometric”, which has acted as the testing partner of the IIMs since the year 2009.
Other than the 13 IIMs, more than 100 B-schools in India use CAT scores to grant admission to students into their management courses. This includes some of the most prestigious institutes such as SP Jain Institute of Management and Research Mumbai, Mudra Institute of Communications Ahmedabad, Faculty of Management Studies Delhi University, etc.
Students can access the CAT 2013 Results online at http://www.cat2013.iimidr.ac.in. Names of candidates who are shortlisted for interviews will be put up on the CAT website.
