If the characters do not appear clearly, candidates can click on ‘Get a new image’ to refresh the letters.
Thereafter, the candidates have to select the ‘I Agree’ checkbox in the Declaration section. It is mandatory to agree to the contents in the Declaration to proceed to submit the form.
Within minutes of submitting the registration form, candidates will receive a user ID on the registered email ID from the administrator with the subject line CAT 2014 Login Details. Candidates have to ensure that they check their mailbox immediately and that it is not considered as spam mail. They will also receive the login password as an sms on the registered mobile number from sender LMIIMCAT. Using these credentials, candidates have to log in as “Existing User” to complete the application for CAT 2014 by clicking on the link given in the email. They may also login from the CAT website. The application need not be completed at once - candidates can revisit the form several times.
In the future, if the password is forgotten, candidates may click on the Forgot Password button on the "Existing User" login window. The new password will be sent in an email and not as an sms.
