Q. Tell us about the prospects on completing a course in Clinical research.

Today Clinical Research is offering tremendous job opportunities and is fast emerging as a sunrise industry of the new millennium. Completing a course in clinical research provides an opportunity to explore this field as an exciting new career avenue.

Q. What kind of courses does your institute offer?

We offer skills development program in clinical research ranging from entry level course such as Professional Diploma in Clinical Research (PDCR) to very advance level programs in Project Management, Clinical Trial Monitoring, Scientific Writing, Oncology Clinical Trials Training, 21 CFR Part 11 Training etc.

Q.What is the specialization available in the field of Clinical research?

The various specializations that are available in clinical research field include Monitoring, Project Management, Quality Assurance, Data Management, Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Writing, Research Physician, Site Management, Business Development etc.



Q.What is the fee structure like?

Our training programs are highly cost- effective and the fee structure ranges between Rs. 7000 to Rs. 50000.

Q.Does your institute offers Scholarships or loans?

As our training programs are priced very low, loans or Scholarships are generally not required. However, we offer some fee waiver on case to case basis.

Q.How can we determine the rate of success in this field?

The rate of success can simply be determined by the exponential growth that has taken in this field over past few years. Be it the number of global clinical trials being outsourced to India or the number of job vacancies, clinical research is fast emerging as knowledge based industry of the new millennium. More than 1000 clinical trials are currently active in India and the industry today employs over 10,000 personnel.


Q.What makes your institute stand apart from the rest?
We are the pioneer in imparting clinical research training in India. All our training programs have been developed by the clinical research experts who have worked in the industry for many years. Hence, our training programs are industry oriented and addresses to the implementation challenges in real-life scenario. Q.How is the placement scenario?
Majority of our successful participants are working for over 300 organizations that include pharmaceutical companies, contract research organizations and research institutions etc.


Q.What kind of background and profile does institutes look for in new students?
As our primary aim is to develop the clinical research skills in a participant irrespective of the profile, we receive students from all streams. We have recently performed an analysis which has revealed that 40% of our participants are from pharmacy background, 25% from life-sciences, 20% from medical, 7 from alternate system of medicine (BAMS/BHMS/BUMS), 4% from dental, 3% from management and 1% from nursing, physiotherapy and laboratory technician background.


Q. What are future plans for the institute?
We have recently launched a very specialized and innovative ‘Oncology Clinical Trials Training’ program. In addition we plan to launch various advance level programs to develop the competencies required for higher level job functions in near future.
