CMAT aspirants of Jammu, Srinagar center can opt for alternate center

Candidates aspiring to appear for the Common Management Admission Test September 2015-16 First Test (CMAT September 2015-16 First Test) who have been allotted Jammu & Srinagar as their test center can opt for alternate centers, according to the official website.

The move has been taken considering the flood situation in the region, which may affect conducting the CMAT September examination on scheduled dates at the centers located in the region.

Candidates of the Jammu & Srinagar center have been granted the opportunity to appear for the test at any other test city as mentioned on the CMAT website, where the test is being scheduled.

Candidates wishing to avail the opportunity need to send their request indicating the preferred choice of alternate city to appear for the test to customercare@aicte-cmat.in by 5.30 pm on Sunday, September 21, 2014, from their registered email id.

Candidates need to note that the subject of the email should be “Re-scheduling Test Centre for J&K Candidates for CMAT September 2014 exam”.

CMAT September 2015-16 will be held from Thursday, September 25 to Monday, September 29, 2014 and the Results are expected to be declared on Thursday, October 30, 2014.

Around 53,000 aspirants have registered for CMAT September 2015-16 First Test, according to officials of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The number of registrations for the CMAT September 2015-16 First Test has actually decreased, although the registration process was extended from Monday, August 25 to Monday, September 1, 2014. The registrations had started on Thursday, July 3, 2014.
