Academy of Management Studies (AMS), Dehradun is a premier centre of Management & Information Technology education . AMS has been established by the famous Dayanand Shiksha Sansthan, UP, Kanpur in memory of Late Dr. Virendra Swarup former MLC and Chairman of the UP State Legislative Council. The Sansthan has a tradition of higher education and is managing 21 educational institutions which consists of Law College, Graduate and Post Graduate Colleges for Men and Women.
AMS was established in 1993 at the edge of Dehradun city which is reputed as the educational capital of India. There is no interference in educational institutions from undesirable elements which is the case in most other cities and towns of India.
Campus :-
AMS campus, on its own land, is located amidst lush green hills and rivers. In winter snow cap ridges of Mussoorie create magnificent backdrop. With moderate temperatures and quiet ambience, AMS campus is an ideal place for higher and demanding studies. Courses offered comprise of PGDM, MCA, BCA, BBA. At AMS, the premises are equipped with ample technical aids like advanced computers, classroom projectors, massive library and other facilities. Highly qualified and dedicated faculty members including those who have studied, worked and taught in Europe impart intensive education and training to students. Students are individually groomed to become competent Placement Cell :- Placement assistance is provided to all students. Placements cell of AMS works closely with industry and makes systematic efforts to place the pass outs. Campus interview is a regular feature.
