Acharya & BM Reddy College of Pharmacy, Bangalore was established in the year 1992. ABMRCP’s is today one of the forefront Pharmacy education institutions in the State. The College is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of health Sciences (RGUHS) and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). Its Diploma in Pharmacy programme is approved by the Government of Karnataka, Board of Examinations, Dept. of Drug Control. ABMRCP’s penchant for quality in all its endeavors has seen it accredited by National Board of Accreditation in the year 2006 and it is in the process of getting ISO 9001:2000 certification, forge academic collaborations with leading Industry funded research projects.

Acharya & BM Reddy College of Pharmacy lays strong emphasis on getting its students rewardingly placed in challenging national and international careers. Its initiatives in interfacing with leading pharma industries have seen the students visiting them and undertaking projects. ‘Data Curation of Matrix Metalloprotease’ a project for Siri Technologies, Bangalore is an example.
