Overview

Amity Institute of Anthropology (AIA), Noida aims at catering to the needs of the community it serves and providing its students with a competitive edge in their professional pursuits. Amity University is one of a very few universities teaching biological and social anthropology alongside each other and to give access to a rich and rewarding environment that fosters anthropological learning and gives the students confidence, skills and academic foundation to tackle a wide range of challenges.

 

The program offered under the aegis of Amity Institute of Anthropology (AIA) is B.Sc. (H) Anthropology, M.Sc. Anthropology, and introducing two new post graduate diploma programs in population genetics and public health and tribal and rural health management. The courses are so structured as to provide an active learning experience, utilizing a problem-solving framework, rather than utilize a particular theory or set of methods.

 

Amity assists in developing interdisciplinary and professional skills in the graduate and postgraduate students along with imbibing ethical and moral values in them and to develop a core competency that enables individuals in their personal and professional growth. The mission of the AIA is to equip the students with extraordinary skills for life, making them not just job seekers, but also job creators.
