Apeejay Institute of Technology-School of Architecture & Planning, Greater Noida was established in 1999 to coincide with initiation of classes for B. Arch under the aegis of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University; later it has been affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University. It is an integral constituent of the Apeejay Institute of Technology. School of Architecture & Planning has been meeting all norms and standards of education stipulated by AICTE and have been granted regular extension to conduct B. Arch courses as a result of successful compliance of the norms.
They believe that education should enable the students to soar high - morally, socially and spiritually. The vision of the institute is to create a global educational community of conscientious individuals who have developed their intellectual, artistic and professional talents to the highest degree and who have an exalted sense of purpose in their lives, inspiring them all around to transcend barriers, overcome odds and work in unison to bring about positive change in society.

The campus, about forty kms away from Connaught Place in New Delhi is part of the institutional area of Greater Noida - a modern, well planned and fast growing city. The Apeejay campus occupies an area of 29.0 acres.

The 4th year, B. Arch students are supposed to undertake a 6 months training, under any National or International Architect. The students are kept as fresher or apprentice and are paid by the Architect or his firm there is a 6 monthly report which the students submit after returning to the host college and finally promoted on their outcomes of the training.
