Atma College offers B.Com from Bangalore University. The Bachelor of Commerce degree is designed to provide the student with a wide range of managerial skills along with building competence in a the area of business studies. The three years program is divided into six semesters. It includes 35 core papers besides English and language papers. Accounting & Taxation, Finance, Information & Technology and Banking & Insurance electives are offered in the fifth and the sixth semesters. Students are required to undertake project work during the fifth and the sixth semesters. The course imparts high level of knowledge and competence to effectively contribute to the society with commitment and integrity. Objectives To provide a strong foundation level understanding of the functioning of business organizations, commercial transactions and of various specialized operations such as accounting, finance and marketing by offering a comprehensive curriculum. Atma offer Master of Commerce course from University of Mysore. This course course offers students a scope to look into the everyday activity involved in commerce. M.Com is a two years full time regular course, minimum eligibility for which is a B.Com or equivalent. Major Project Work A student in the fourth semester shall register for a Major Project Work. The guide for the Major Project Work shall be allotted to the students in the third semester.
