Auckland School of Design was established in 2002. Auckland School of Design is a part of College of Creative Arts, which focuses its provision of excellence in design and fine art education at its larger well-resourced facility on the Wellington campus, the College of Creative Arts will be enrolling all new students at the School of Design Wellington campus.
The Albany campus continues to offer quality tuition to students already enrolled in the programmes in the Industrial Design, Transport Design, Integrated Design and Visual Communication Graphic design majors.
Current students and graduates continue to excel and recent award winners include Nick Eaton and Aidan Turvey both won gold awards, Sarah Peard who won a silver award at the DINZ Best Awards and Anton Garland who won the AMP scholarship to Umea Institute of Design, Sweden.
