Bhavnagar University, Bhavnagar was established in 1978 by the state of Gujarat. The University is a member of The Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and recognized by UGC and also accredited by NAAC. The University is an institute of international recognition, has been offering educational and developmental, training, faculty enrichment, and social awareness programmes. It has been enhancing extension of the frontiers of knowledge. The University is well equipped with all modern facilities. A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to the students of the University. The University has also started several self finance courses in its post graduate departments for post graduate degrees.
