Birla Institute of Technology Extension Centre (BIT), Deoghar was established in 2007 as the eighth of the Institute’s campuses within India offering undergraduate programs in different streams of engineering. The institute was established by Jharkhand Government, willing to spread the academic excellence of BIT further across the state. As per the provisions of the MoU the Deoghar Extension Centre offers B.E. programs in Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Production Engineering.
