Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP), Patna has been established as an autonomous institution with active support from the Government of Bihar. The institute was established with an objective of contributing substantially to the academic and development credentials of Bihar, while fulfilling the primary role of training students to become professional managers.
CIMP offers a two-year full-time, AICTE approved, Post Graduate Diploma in Management. The institute follows, to the extent possible, all practices, systems and processes of leading management institutes in India. The first batch of the institute graduated in 2010 with 100% placement record. Campus :- Located in the heart of the city of Patna, the campus is entirely Wi-Fi enabled. All classrooms and conference rooms are air-conditioned and are equipped with LCD screens and projectors to stimulate learning and interaction. In addition to the classrooms, the institute has a library, an auditorium, a computer centre, faculty rooms and on-campus hostel facility for students. Institute also has a Badminton Court, Table Tennis and Gym facilities in-house. Campus recruitment Program :- The final placements for the graduating class are facilitated through the following processes :- Pre-Placement Talks :- The Pre-Placement Talks or Company Presentations are an opportunity for the Companies to interact with the students, understand their expectations and apprise them of the job requirements and job profiles offered. Final Placements :- This process will be conducted in the month of January-February. Companies may conduct a Pre-Placement Talk (PPT) so that they can interact with the students and talk about job profiles and compensation to be offered. This is followed by scheduling of participating companies for placements by allotting day and time when they can begin their recruitment process.
