Chilkur Balaji Institute of Technology (CBTV), Hyderabad was established in 2006. It is affiliated to JNTU, Hyderabad, approved by AICTE. Chilkur Balaji Institute of Technology is a brainchild of Bharatha Jyothi Dr. R.Venkataswamy, a philanthropist and educationist. To promote students with good academic and quality education, the college has the following facilities in various departments, under JNTU curriculum.
The management has set a target of establishing Chilkur Balaji Institute of Technology as an Institution of Excellence in the fields of engineering and technological studies with continual improvement. The vision of the college is to impart technical education that encourages independent thinking, develops strong domain of knowledge, hones contemporary skills and inculcate positive attitude towards holistic growth of young minds.

Placement Cell at Chilkur Balaji Institute of Technology -
The training and placement cell is itself a hallmark of the institute with a separate a/c block with 15 individual cabins and an exclusive conference hall for conducting interviews. The placement cell launched a full-fledged in-house training program Chilkur Balaji Campus Training Programme (CBCTP) for the students where the students are trained from the 1st year itself. CBCTP focuses on soft skills, technical skills, communication skills, personality development. The main reason for initiating the program is to help the students face the interviews effectively and help them advance in their professional careers. The cell is supported by a team of expertised conducts mock interviews, IQ tests, group discussions, debates, role plays, JAM sessions, computer facilities are adequate for an online test for about 200 students at a time.
