Overview

Christian College, Chengannur was established in 1964 is affiliated to the University of Kerala and accredited by NAAC with A grade. The college has been managed by Malankara Mar Thoma Syrian Church. The college now has grown in to a full-fledged temple of learning with graduate courses in Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Botany, Zoology, Economics, History, English & post graduate courses in Economics, English and Physics & Analytical Chemistry. The college strives to inculcate values like compassion, kindness, gentleness and humanity among the students.

 

The aim of the college is to provide higher education in Arts & Science of the highest standard encouraging sound learning, building up character and upholding moral and spiritual values and creation of employment oriented skills is an additional goal. The mission of the institute is to provide quality higher education for the overall development of young men and women of central Travancore.
