College Boreal- Nipissing was established in 1995. College Boreal is the only French-language community college in northern Ontario. College Boreal is a modern college that offers excellence, is aware of the realities of employment, of new technologies and of the environmental challenges of the world.
College Boreal’s main mission is to provide a high caliber personalized education to a diverse clientele and it practices community leadership to foster the sustainable development of the francophone community of Ontario.
College Boreal has campuses at Hearst in Toronto to Kapuskasing, New Liskeard, Nipissing, or Timmins and Sudbury. Each and every campuses foster respect for all the francophone identities that make up the cultural diversity of that province.
College Boreal has signed a collaboration agreement with the University Laurentienne to offer a joint programme leading to the Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Science. The College Boreal COOP is in partnership with “Mangeons local Sudbury” (Eat Local Sudbury).
College Boreal- Nipissing campus offers various postsecondary programs, such as practical nurse, pre-health science, personal support worker, early childhood education, office administration, general and executive secretary, business and general arts and science program and a variety of apprenticeship programs such as welding, early childhood education, educational assistant and construction craft worker.
