Commits, Bangalore was established in 2001 as a postgraduate media and communications institute in Bangalore and inaugurated by then Governor of Karnataka, Smt Rama Devi. Its aim is to enable students to position themselves as multiskilled and multifaceted media professionals. It has emerged as one of the top five communication colleges at the postgraduate level in India, offering a bouquet of cutting-edge courses across the media spectrum.

Commitscons have done internships and work with all leading newspapers, television channels, radio stations, television and film production houses, advertising agencies, PR and event management companies and with NGOs in India and abroad. There will be three compulsory internships during the course. All internships will be evaluated and marked on 100 marks. The project reports submitted will be sent to the university. Students get offers from leading media organisations based on their performance during the internship. Commits students are always appreciated for their grasp of the subject, alertness, hard work and comprehensive skill sets.
