D.A.V. Dental College, Yamunanagar was established in 1987 by D.A.V. College Trust and Management Society, which is the largest educational organization next to the Government of India. The dental college is affiliated to the University of Kurukshetra, Haryana, and is recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI). The college provides courses at UG as well as PG level. The courses have been permitted by the State Government of Haryana, Central Government, the Dental Council of India as well as Kurukshetra University. The college provides a comfortable environment to the students, within campus.
Campus :-
The college campus is situated in the heart of the city in the most posh area of the town. It has round the clock power and water supply. Facilities for indoor and outdoor games exist within the premises and it is one of the most peaceful campus in the country. It is walking distance from the best market and easily approachable by road and rail.
Objectives :-
To provide the infrastructure and to promote and supplement Dental and Medical education and training.
To provide the dental health care both curative and preventive to the community at large living in the catchments area of the Dental College.
To undertake research for promotion of Dental Health and prevention of dental diseases.
To experiment and innovative to utilize high technology advances in the field of Dental Health in the remotest corners of the state and that too cost-effectively. To train Para dental workers so that their deficiency at national level may be made up.
