Don Bosco Arts and Science College, Angadikadavu was established in 2005 under the Salesian Society of Catholic Priests and Brothers. The College is affiliated to Kannur University. Don Bosco College of Arts and Science, a NAAC approved institution is affiliated to Salem Periyar University which offers more advanced courses.
The educational philosophy of Don Bosco believes in accompaniment of youth as a friend and guide. It is built on the principle that, deviations and misdemeanor on the part of the young can be prevented, with timely but caring interventions rather than a punitive mechanism. They provide the students with holistic education built upon four pillars, as envisaged in the UNESCO document on Education: Learning: The Treasure Within.
