Gandhi Medical College (GMC), Bhopal was established in 1955. GMC, Bhopal is one of the best medical college in India. Gandhi Medical College was inaugurated on by Pt. Lal Bahadur Shashtri. The college started their functioning in the building of the Polytechnic with first batch of fifty students and two departments.
