ILS Law College (ILS), Pune was established in 1923 by Indian Law Society a Public Charitable Trust. The college is a model of cultural integration with over 1600 students from across the country and abroad on roll. It is one of the renowned institutes for legal studies, which is accredited with ‘A+’ grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). It is ranked amongst the top ten law colleges in the country by the India-Today ORG MARG survey.
The institute was set up with the objective of providing facilities for the study of law on a scientific basis. The campus of the college is set amidst a picturesque location, in the heart of Pune, with all the state-of-the-art facilities complemented with top class legal education imparted by the college. ILS Law College was initially affiliated to the University of Bombay. With the establishment of the University of Pune in 1949, the college got affiliated to it.

Placement Cell -
The college's placement cell helps students find summer placements (internships during vacations) and regular placements (jobs after completing LLB or MLL&LW courses). In addition to providing access to various potential employers, the placement cell also provides the students with specialized training tailored towards the placement procedure. Their faculty member co-ordinates the placement activities for each of the courses with the help of 2-3 students from the last-but-one year of the course.
