The “Bachelor of Arts in 3D Animation & Visual Effects” course, to be launched by IGNOU & MAAC from the July of 2009, is a
graduation program. Students through the course will undergo training on how create DV films with aesthetic sense. The course
also covers in depth training on 3D Animation and Visual Effects with Node Based Compositing and Match Moving. Film Editing is
also an integral part of the course curriculum. The course also ensures students have a thorough understanding of the Animation
Production Pipeline. Also covered during the course will be language studies along with Business Organisation and Accountancy.
Students in the graduate program will be required to create a Computer Graphics based film as a final project.

• Understand the basics of Film Editing,
• Understand the Animation Production Pipeline, and
• Create a Show Reel of your own.

This program is best suited for anyone who wants to enter the 3D Animation and Visual Effects industry. The program covers all
technical and aesthetic aspects of Film Making, 3D Animation, Compositing, Camera Tracking, Camera Matching & Film Editing, and
equips the student with basic soft skills and business skills.
