Xavier Institute of Management Bhubaneswar - XIMB

XIMB's new fellow programme draws upon national and international experience in doctoral-level education in management and related disciplines. The programme is designed to provide a rich exposure to the methodological issues in management research, apart from the necessary subject-specific training. Selected students will attend Research Training Seminars round the year.

There is an emphasis on imparting in-depth knowledge on the relevant academic debates in the area of research selected by the student. This is operationalised through intensive Research Review Seminars. Students will also benefit from a Pedagogical Training component. Overall, our fellow programme is oriented towards developing transferable research skills. The Institute will make a limited number of research assistantships available to deserving students.

Admission are now open for the academic year of 2010 and is based on XAT entrance test score. Applications are to be completed Online only and can be downloaded from this link.

Application Procedure

• Upon successfully filling the online application form the payment advice form can be downloaded. The applicant must take a printout of the same payment advice form and mail it to the Admissions Office, Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar-751013, accompanied by the application fee (non-refundable) in one of the following ways:

1. Original Bank remittance slip, after depositing Rs.1000/- (in cash) at any State Bank of India core branch in the Current A/c No. 30834687536 of Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar; OR
2. A Demand Draft for Rs.1000/- made out in favour of Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar.

• On receipt of the DD or Bank remittance slip/counterfoil for the required amount and the payment advice form, the Bulletin 2010 will be mailed to the applicant. The Last date for applying online is December 5, 2009, and for despatching the application fee it is December 15, 2009.
• Besides registering for XAT one has to apply (online) separately to XIM, Bhubaneswar.
• Online registration will be accepted subject to receipt of the application fee and completed payment advice form by XIMB. Upon receipt ofthe application fee, the eligible applicants will be intimated by e-mail about the acceptance of their applications.
