It is an employment oriented institute as all Indus graduates become potential cruise line employees. The institute have an enviable track record of having placed over 1500 chefs (ie, 99% of the students) on cruise lines. And the demand for trained cooks and chefs is growing, both in the international and the domestic markets. The institute has tied up with Chariot Beach Resort, currently being renovated and upgraded under new management, who will employ Indus graduates for training in the relevant departments of the hotel for 9-12 months before they can qualify for being recruited for cruise line jobs.
