Kalipada Ghosh Tarai Mahavidyalaya, Darjeeling was established in 1988 recognized by UGC as an undergraduate college. This is a grant-in aid college affiliated to the University of North Bengal. The college has been accredited at the B level by the executive committee of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The College was established with the aim of spreading higher education among the under privileged class and rural people. The college provides undergraduate programs under two faculties Arts and Commerce.
