Karim City College (KCC), Jamshedpur established in 1961 by the founder father late Syed Tafazzul Karim with a view to impart education to the weaker section of Jamshedpur especially Muslims. The College has now become a premier educational institution of eastern India. Around 6,500 students are enrolled at present pursuing their studies in three faculties and 22 departments. Run and managed by Karimia Trust, Jamshedpur and permanently affiliated to Kolhan University, Chaibasa.
Karim City College under the empirical approach of the present trustee the College plans to surge ahead in infrastructure facilities with the development of a new campus at Mango. Academic excellence is a pursuit for us and we are constant in the pilgrimage towards house beautiful. The main aim of the college is to impart quality education and to provide better opportunities of higher education to the weaker sections of the society particularly to the Muslim minority.
