Lady Shri Ram College for Women (LSR), New Delhi was established in 1956 and has long been recognized as a premier institution of higher learning for women in India. As a centre for academic excellence and achievement, the college is today one of the finest institutions for Social Sciences, Humanities and Commerce, while also offering a B.Sc. program in statistics. The aim of the institution was to provide access to higher education of quality to women.
