Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College (LTMMC), Mumbai is located in Sion, Mumbai. The LTMG Hospital is a 1416-bed public teaching hospital situated in a vital area of Mumbai. It has just completed 50 years of its existence. The college is approved by the medical council of India (MCI). The main strength of the hospital is the sustained excellence of its emergency areas. Though the growth of the institution has paralleled the growth of the country since independence, much more needs to be done. The institute's infrastructure is modern with well equipped facilities. A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to the students in various departments of the college.
