Maharashtra College of Pharmacy (MCPN), Nilanga is an institution has been started under the aegis of Maharashtra Shikshan Samiti. The institute offers two main courses Diploma in Pharmacy and Bachelor of Pharmacy which were started in 1981, 1984, respectively. The college is affiliated to the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education, Mumbai and to the Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded. The college is approved by AICTE and PCI and recognized by the Government of Maharashtra State.

Pharmacy mainly deals with preparing, distributing as well as providing advise on appropriate usage of medication for achieving optimal outcomes.
M.Pharm.- Stands for Master of Pharmacy. Typically, Master in Pharmacy is a two years course, minimum eligibility for which is Bachelor in Pharmacy. Pharmacy mainly deals with preparing, distributing as well as providing advise on appropriate usage of medication for achieving optimal outcomes. Subjects studied under pharmacy are Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Biochemistry and Pharmaceutical Engineering.
