Monroe County Community College (MCCC), Michigan was established in 1964 is a public, two-year institution supported by tax monies from Monroe County, educational funds from the State of Michigan, and student tuition. Monroe County Community College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association. MCCC offers a general education program for students seeking transfer to a four year university or those seeking a career in a vocational education.
The college 210-acre Main Campus is centrally located in Monroe County with easy access to Detroit and Toledo. The college mission is to provide a variety of higher education opportunities to enrich the lives of the residents of Monroe Country.
