Mudra Institute of Communications (MICA), Ahmedabad was established in 1991. MICA is the first residential institute in the country, and perhaps in the Asia- Pacific region, dedicated to meeting the integrated marketing communication needs of the industry, government and community. The institute provides specialists in the field of communications management. Its spirit lies in its grasping of contemporariness, addressing the needs of an ever-changing environment. The MICA brand assures the delivery of current, reliable and cost-effective communication management skills. In short period MICA has grown from having less than 50 postgraduate students to having over 300 students.

Campus:

Thier fully-equipped community centre helps students come together after class. Their various amenities like the badminton court, tennis court, basketball court, cricket field and gym help keep the students physically fit after a full day of brain muscle work-outs. Apart from this they have a library that is open 24x7, which students with a thirst for books can spend ages browsing through. The MICA lifestyle is a perfect combination of academics and extra-curricular activities.

Placements:

MICA has maintained a 100% placement record since the past few years. The final placement procedure starts around the month of December. The lateral placement process caters to students with substantial prior work experience. These students are offered positions above the entry level at various organisations. The summer internship is organised for 8-10 weeks in various advertising agencies, media and marketing organisations during the summer break at the end of the first year of the programme. No student is admitted to the second year without completing the summer internship.
