Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP) was established in 1992. They provide quality education and training to prepare students and adult learners for work and life, equipping them to be life-long learners and to contribute to the technological, economic and social development of Singapore.
Nanyang Polytechnic plays a critical role in providing quality industry-relevant polytechnic education. Over the years, they have distinguished themselves by leading the way with the Teaching Factory concept to train technologists, innovated constantly to meet the needs of a changing economy, worked closely with partners in industry and focused continually on developing new capabilities.
Today, NYP has seven schools and more than 1,300 staff offering 50 full-time diplomas to about 16,000 students in a wide range of courses in various disciplines. NYP also offers a large selection of continuing education and training programs to adult learners, at the advanced diploma, specialist diploma, diploma and certificate levels as well as customised professional development programs.

The Nanyang Polytechnic campus is spread over 30.5 hectares of land, Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP) is situated next to the Yio Chu Kang MRT station. The modern campus, with its new and state-of-the-art facilities, is modelled on a town centre concept to provide all the conveniences of a self-contained "Teaching and Learning City".
