National Institute of Technology (NIT K), Kurukshetra earlier Regional Engineering College was established in 1963. This Institute was conferred upon the status of deemed to be university, along with other Regional Engineering College on June 26, 2002. The Institute has earned prestige and glory by imparting high quality technical education, contributing to research, mentoring to other Institution in the region and serving to society.

Placement Cell at National Institute of Technology -
The training and placement cell handles all aspects of training and campus placements for the students at NIT Kurukshetra. The cell is equipped with excellent infrastructure to support every stage of the placement process. Arrangements for Pre-Placements talks, written tests, interviews, group discussions, etc are all handled by the staff at the office.
