Even 3rd cut-off list could not fill seats in Patna University colleges

Patna University has not been able to fill all its undergraduate seats in most of its colleges even after the release of third cut-off list. Some of these colleges have even started their first year classes for undergraduate courses. The Patna University (PU) officials locked the PG (postgraduate) department of education and Patna Training College on Saturday, August 4, 2012. PU (Patna University) on July 20, 2012 announced the waiver of 50% marks for clearing the entrance exam held by its affiliated colleges for enrollment to 3-year degree courses in science, commerce and arts streams.
