Rajeev Gandhi Memorial College of Engineering and technology, (RGMCET) Nandyal is located in a 50 acres site at Nerawada cross roads,10 Kms from Nandyal town on the way to kurnool on NH-18. The former Prime Minister Shri P.V.Narasimha Rao and the Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Shri N.Chandra Babu Naidu have inaugurated RGMCET. It is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and permitted by state Govt of Andhra Pradesh. This is the first private Engineering college affiliated to JNT University, Hyderabad at both UG and PG levels..

Placement:- A well organized placement cell is functioning in the Institution with a fulltime dedicated Placement Officer, who continuously monitors the employment potentials and arranges the campus interviews for the students. The Placement Officer maintains a consistent communication with the leading companies 'Nation wide' for placement of the students. The office keeps close liaison with various industrial establishments (both private and public sectors), which conduct campus interviews and select graduate and post-graduate students from all disciplines. The Placement Cell provides the infra-structural facilities to conduct group discussions, tests and interviews. The college is actively organising in-campus and out-campus interviews for its students to get proper placement.
