Ramnarain Ruia College of Arts & Science, Mumbai was established in 1937; it was the first college in Mumbai to be started by the Shikshana Prasaraka Mandali, Pune. This college is affiliated to University of Mumbai and conducts courses at undergraduate and graduate (Postgraduate) level. Today, Ruia College enjoys the reputation of being one of the finest institutions of higher learning in the country.

The Vidyarthi Prathinidhi Mandal (VPM) is an umbrella organization having maximum students' representation. Throughout the year the VPM organizes various programs related to all most every expect of students' life.
