VIT School of Electronics Engineering, Vellore at VIT University was established for imparting a state-ofthe- art education, training and research in the field of Electronics and Communication and allied areas. The School offers a Bachelor's level programme in Electronics and Communication and Master's programmes in Communication Engineering, Sensor System Technology, Automotive Electronics, VLSI Design and Nanotechnology. The School has a faculty strength of 100 and attracts the brightest students.
Every year, students get Scholarships from VIT under the Semester Abroad Programme (SAP).They also get Scholarships for projects from foreign universities and industries which have MoUs with VIT. The school has seven Divisions: Communication, Networking & Wireless, Digital Signal Processing, Embedded Systems, MEMS and Sensors, Nanotechnology, Photonics & Microwave, and VLSI.

The School of Electronics Engineering has state-ofthe- art laboratories in the areas of communication, Embedded systems, DSP, Microwave and Photonics, MEMS (Design center supported by NPMASS), Sensors, VLSI/ULSI system design, Nanotechnology (under DST, nano initiative) with special emphasis on nanoelectronics, nanophotonics and communication technology.
