St. Joseph's Pre University College, Bangalore is a religious minority institution run by the Bangalore Jesuit educational society for the education of catholic youth. Which has also been at the service of others without any distinction of caste or creed. The college has an independent institution in 2001. After the bifurcation of pre university studies from the graduate studies as decided cy the government of Karnataka. While the science stream parted ways with St, Joseph’s college, Bangalore, the commerce stream was from St. Joseph’s college of commerce, Bangalore.
Success in St. Joseph’s is not defined just in terms of academic excellence, but in directly its educational efforts to make future leaders, with a holistic combination of intellectual powers, social concern, personal and moral values, who march towards building a just and equitable society. St. Joseph's offers a wide range of course combinations for pre-university education and promises exciting and rewarding opportunities that ensure logistic development in a student. Campus :- The Campus enjoys fresh air and moderate climate conducive for apt learning. Its central location facilitates easy access to bus stops and other amenities. Well maintained gardens and buildings, an air-conditioned Computer Lab, Cafeteria and other requisites of an institute of higher education are regularly given here. The solid stone buildings of the College are sheltered under a canopy of trees. The main block houses the office of the Administrator, Principal, the Administrative Office, the Labs of various Science departments, the Staff Rooms, the Library, the Book Shop and the Classrooms. The annexe building holds the Electronics Lab, Prayer Room and Gymnasium. The large, well ventilated classrooms boast of seating arrangement ideal for learning. Facilities :-
