TERI School of Advanced Studies was established in 1998 as Teri University. It is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The University has developed and evolved as a research university exploring the frontiers of knowledge in areas of major significance to human endeavor TERI University is the first of its kind in India to dedicate itself to the study of environment, energy and natural sciences for sustainable development. The University offers not just world-class education, but also an environment that enables its students to develop fresh perspectives on their subjects of study. This includes regular interactions with researchers, scientists and academicians.
