The Bombay Flying Club, Mumbai was established in 1928, is India’s Premier aviation institute approved by the Director General of Civil Aviation- DGCA, government of India. The institute imparts ground/flying training and aircraft maintenance engineers. The Bombay Flying Club is the only flying club in the world which undertook, in the early thirties, a cross country international flight from Bombay to London and back, flying a Tiger Moth single engine aircraft.
This Organization is also approved by DGCA under category ‘C’ major maintenance of piston engine and instrument which is fitted on Light aircraft. Organization is also approved by DGCA under Category ‘B’ workshop process and Inspection to carry out Non destructive testing (NDT) using Magnetic Particle inspection method (MPI) and Ultrasonic testing method. Organization have highly experienced pilot and engineer as a faculty to give high standard training to student.
