Darla Moore School of Business was established in 1919 as the School of Commerce at University of South Carolina. In 1946, the School of Commerce becomes School of Business Administration and in 1965, the College of Business Administration is created. In 1998, it has renamed as Darla Moore School of Business. The Darla Moore School of Business has grown into a thriving site of academic excellence, with an enrollment of nearly 4,000 undergraduate students and over 800 graduate students. The Moore School is perhaps best known for its outstanding leadership in international business education and research.
The school offers a wide range of programs in addition to its international specializations that draws widely from the public sector as well as academia. The International MBA program has been ranked #2 in the international business specialty by U.S.News & World Report and ranked #3 for best international experience among the world's top 100 business schools by Financial Times.
