Trade-Wings Institute of Management Ltd (TIM), Mumbai, was established in 1989. TIM received a boost with IATA / UFTAA authorization which came in 1993 for its showcase center at Kalaghoda, Mumbai. TIM was well received by the Travel, Tourism & Hospitality industry and many of its students were employed in various areas of the industry, not only in India but even in Middle East, North America, Europe & Far East.Today, Over 50,000 of TIM students are working for various Travel Agencies, Tour Operators, Airlines, Hotels,Airline Revenue Accounting companies and Tourism organizations all over India and worldwide.TIM has also helped Pune University to design the new Travel & Tourism syllabus for its courses.
Trade-wings is one of the first Travel Agencies with multiple branches in India. Trade-wings pioneered Travel & Tourism industry in India and under the able leadership of Mr Vinoo Ubhayankar, went on to become one of the top 5Travel companies in the country with over 16 branches which are IATA Accredited. Trade-wings is also a network partner of American Express for Corporate Travel. Trade-wings’ first diversification came in the form of Five StarDeluxe Property with over 125 rooms, right on the beach, at Goa. Today this property boasts to be one of the finest star properties in Goa, right next to Airport.

TIM has an active All India Central placement Cell to induct their students into the mainstream. On completion of the course each student is reviewed on various parameters such as intelligence, hard work, innovativeness, creative thinking and is helped to get placed accordingly with suitable organization. From time to time, TIM’s students are offered on-the-job training (OJT) with various airlines for passenger & cargo handling depending upon the season and situation.

Trade-wings Institute provides customized Training programmes to the corporates as per their Training needs. The subjects vary from as basic as Domain knowledge in Airline and Tourism Industry to as complex as GDS functionality from software developer point of view.
